Phoenix Shaving | Savon à raser artisanal Atomic Age Bay Rum – Ck6

So today is my first shave with a CK6 soap. Wonderful scent. Easy, great lather generation. I wanted to lower the setting on my T2 razor for the final pass. For the first time in my life I had to grab the razor with a face cloth to gain some traction. The residual soap on my hands was actually that slippery. So I got a 3 pass BBS with no irritation. My face felt slick as I washed off the lather. My Alum block produced ZERO feed back. So I have to say I am impressed with this lather. Great results on my first try. Finished off with the matching aftershave. OoH boy does that set off a Home Alone burn!! Face stayed hot for good 5 minutes. I was afraid I would have to wash it off but it settled down and no calls were placed with EMT. Overall impression of both products is great.

Another addition to my Bay Rum selection with no scent of Rum!, Exceptional lather and a wonderful warm bay leaf scent but I'm missing my love of Rum.

As stated in the description, no clove is used in this soap. It is very bay forward to my nose. Still a nice take on Bay Rum and good performance. Would recommend to those who don't want clove in Bay Rum.
