EXTRO’ COSMESI | Crème de Rasage Vanille

This was the first soap I have used from Extro Cosmesi and it left me very impressed.

Love the glass jar. I love when artisans use a container with a taller lip so you aren't slopping soap over the sides while loading your brush.

I've used dozens of different artisan bases, and this soft croap might just be the easiest to load and lather that I have ever used. I just submerge.my synthetic brush in water, give it 3 or 4 good shakes, give the brush around 20 swirls in the jar, and within 5 or 10 seconds of lathering on my face I get a great, yogurt-like lather. Slickness and post shave is right up there with the best artisans out there, and it only takes around 30 seconds to make.

The scent is a lovely mild vanilla which is exactly what I wanted. There's so many scents out there where vanilla is just a bit player and not the main attraction, and this is not the case here. You can pick up the slightest floral and musk undertones if you search for it, but this is absolutely a vanilla forward scent. My only wish is that the scent had a little more staying power.
