A recent slight disappointment with a new bottle of Fine Platinum AS not being as strong or lasting a scent had me wanting another Aventus dupe option. Phoenix Grey has a strong rep and they are at the top of my preference for aftershave splashes. So, picked this up. Indeed, it is a great smell and the strength is there. As for longevity, it's around the mid-level of the PAA splashes. Some last longer than others—a factor attributable to the specific ingredients for any particular scent. Anyway, I am very happy with the Dopp Grey. If you're looking for Aventus, this won't disappoint, or clash with any real or dupe version of an EDT. Frankly, had TOTC had the EDT I may have picked it up too.
